i’ve always wanted to revisit a pre-dawn star trails concept i did nearly a decade ago, but my camera battery never lasts the night. i woke up at 3 am to capture these star trails from 4:26 - 5:05 am
i’ve always wanted to revisit a pre-dawn star trails concept i did nearly a decade ago, but my camera battery never lasts the night. i woke up at 3 am to capture these star trails from 4:26 - 5:05 am
two 30-second exposures at f/2.8, stacked using siril (pro tip: always double check your camera settings before running your sequence. don’t be like me wasting twenty minutes taking useless frames. two exposures was all i could salvage)
it took me a week after c/2023 a3's peak brightness to finally be able to get a good picture of it because the weather was so uncooperative. at this point i couldn’t even see it with the naked eye, but that’s what a camera and tripod is for
