this was an accidental picture taken when my camera fogged up when i was on the water, but the result actually has such a great atmosphere, even if it’s not at all representative of what the weather was actually like

i was sitting by the lakeside looking at this cloud but didn’t think anything of it because there was no rain in the forecast. then as i was driving back surprise! thunderstorm

since i'm thinking of actually using this dreamwidth now, i thought i'd christen it with the same picture i did with my tumblr a decade ago. still one of my favorite photographs i've ever taken
